Yoga should meet us where we are and we often walk right into a class hoping it does the work for us. Once we understand where we are and how different aspects of a yogic practice work, we can use this knowledge to curate a practice that tackles current obstacles.
The goal of this course is to create a container, a code of ethics to honor, take time to share without judgement, move the feelings through our bodies with the help of ancient practices, and find ways to empower our own person practice by way of this knowledge. The first day we will chat, gather information on where you are and where you want to go, talk about emotions and how yoga helps them move through and with us, and go over yogic techniques and their place in our life. The second day we will find our current state and situation, design a practice to meet us there, and close with a group practice of pranayama, kriya, and meditation.
